Jawa Motorcycles Opens Its First Showroom In Nashik

Jawa Motorcycles today announced opening its first showroom in Nashik. With this the Classic Legends-owned motorcycle brand now has seven showrooms across India, getting a step closer to setting up its first ten dealerships in the country. Right now, Jawa Motorcycles has two showrooms in Pune, three in Bengaluru and one in Delhi, while the seventh one has now come up in Nashik. The company says that the dealership in Nashik is part of the phase-1 launch of the 100+ Jawa Motorcycles outlets that are scheduled to be launched across India.

Speaking about the launch, Ashish Joshi, Chief Executive Officer, Classic Legends said, "It gives us great pride to bring Classic Legends' Jawa Motorcycles dealership to Nashik. Jawa Motorcycles has enjoyed a huge fan following and it was a historic moment for us when we brought Jawa back in India. We are quite upbeat to offer these classics to the motorcycle enthusiasts in the country. Jawa Motorcycles aims to have 100+ showrooms in India

The company says that its aim is to offer its customers with the best of the sales, service and spares ecosystem. On this, Joshi further added, "The faith placed by Jawa customers and aficionados, is helping us create a vast dealership network that offers an unparalleled customer experience with best-in-class sales and service offering for any classic motorcycle brand out there."

Currently, Jawa Motorcycles offers two motorcycles in India - the Jawa Forty-Two and the Jawa, which are priced at Rs. 1.56 lakh and Rs. 1.65 lakh respectively. While the bikes that are currently on sale only come with single channel ABS (Antilock Braking System), the company had earlier announced that it will be introducing, come June 2019 it will introduce rear disc brake versions of the bikes which will get dual channel ABS setup. The dual-channel ABS variants will be priced at Rs. 1.73 lakh for the Jawa Two and Rs. 1.64 lakh for Jawa Forty-Two (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).

Both the bikes come with a retro design unique to the brand, however, it's the more expensive Jawa that has a stronger resemblance to the classic Jawa bikes of the 70s. Both the motorcycles are powered by the same 293 cc liquid cooled, single cylinder, DOHC engine that makes 27 bhp and 28 Nm of torque while being mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Currently, all the Jawa bike are sold out till September 2019.
