BMW Motorrad Updates Select Models For 2020

BMW Motorrad has announced updates for its entire international motorcycle range at the 'BMW Motorrad Days' event. The updates include cosmetic changes, additional standard equipment and discounts on optional accessories and equipment. We list out all the models and the updates they will be getting in BMW Motorrad's India portfolio. Of course, it may take some time for the company to bring in the updated models to India.

BMW G 310 R

The most affordable BMW motorcycle, the G 310 R, gets a new paint finish, which is called Cosmic Black 2. The colour of the front fender, radiator cover and the rear fairing are changed and the tape colour is new too. There are bits of maroon colour as well. The Cosmic Black colour option has been discontinued.

BMW G 310 GS

The smallest member of BMW's family, the G 310 GS, gets a new paint finish too, which is called Strato Blue metallic. The company will discontinue the 'Racing Red' colour option.

BMW S 1000 RR

The new-generation BMW S 1000 RR gets a new colour scheme called Hockenheim silver metallic. Plus, BMW will also offer an optional carbon package for the bike which includes carbon fibre fenders at the front and rear, the upper fairing side panels on both sides, a chain guard and a sprocket cover. The motorcycle was recently launched in India with prices starting at Rs. 18.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

BMW S 1000 R

The S 1000 R, BMW's litre-class naked sport, also gets a new paint scheme called San Marino blue metallic and the Racing red/Black storm metallic has been discontinued.

Apart from the updates, one can now specify cross-spoked wheels in golden or black for all variants and colours of the BMW R 1250 GS/R 1250 GS Adventure. All variants of the BMW R nineT get automatic stability control as standard and the BMW K 1600 B gets a reversing gear, new black switches and a new colour scheme which is Hockenheim silver metallic. Apart from these updates, BMW will also be offering a 15 per cent reduction on the prices of optional equipment for the F 750 GS, F 850 GS and the F 850 GS Adventure.
