Ducati Test Rider Alessandro Valia Sets New BIC Track Record

Ducati's chief test rider Alessandro Valia set the new record, the fastest around the Buddh International Circuit on any stock OEM bike. Valia was riding a Ducati Panigale V4S when he set the record, beating the previous record by over 2 seconds.

SWM SuperDual T Launched In India; Prices Start At Rs. 6.80 Lakh

Kinetic MotoRoyale has launched Italian motorcycle company SWM in India and the first bike to be launched under SWM is the SuperDual T range. The SWM SuperDual T base is priced at Rs. 6.80 lakh and the SWM SuperDual T is priced at Rs. 7.30 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, India). It is a mid-capacity ADV motorcycle which gets a 600 cc single-cylinder engine that makes 56 bhp and 53.5 Nm of peak torque and is paired to a six-speed transmission. Ducati has just announced the new Panigale V4 R ahead of the 2018 EICMA show in Milan, and the V4 R is faster and more powerful than the Ducati Panigale V4 S . The Panigale V4 R is a slightly downsized version of the current Panigale V4, so that it can meet the World Superbike (WSBK) homologation requirements. The WSBK bikes need to have displacement under 1,000 cc, and the current Panigale V4 has a displacement of 1,103 cc. So, enter the new Ducati Panigale V4 R with a 998 cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine, which not only meets the WSBK requirements, but makes more power than the standard Panigale V4.
