TVS Apache 160 4V Crosses 1 Lakh Sales
TVS Motor Company has announced that the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has sold over 1 lakh units since the 160 cc motorcycle was launched six months ago. The Apache RTR 160 4V is TVS Motor Company's latest offering in the premium 150-160 cc motorcycle segment, and has an all-new engine, chassis and design. TVS continues to offer the older Apache RTR 160 on sale, in addition to the new RTR 160 4V which is available in both fuel-injected and carburetted variants. The fuel-injected version is named TVS Apache RTR 160 Fi 4v. As the name suggests, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is powered by a four-valve, 159.5 cc engine which makes 16.6 bhp of power on the fuel-injected variant, and 16.3 bhp on the carburetted variant.

In terms of design, the Apache RTR 160 4V looks quite similar to its elder sibling, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. The Apache RTR 160 4V boasts of a top speed of 113 kmph on the carburetted variant, while the fuel-injected variant has a claimed top speed of 114 kmph. The 160 4V is available in three colours - Racing Red, Metallic Blue, and Knight Black. Prices begin at Rs. 82,810 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the carburetted variant with a single front disc brake setup; Rs. 85,810 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the carburetted variant with front and rear disc brakes, and Rs. 91,819 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the fuel-injected variant.
