BS6 TVS Radeon Receives A Price Hike Of Rs. 200

The 2020 BS6 TVS Radeon was launched in April 2020 and the prices started at Rs. 58,992 and went up to Rs. 64,992. After a price hike of Rs. 750 in June 2020, TVS Motor Company has again increased the prices of the Radeon by Rs. 200, for all variants. There are three variants of the BS6 TVS Radeon on sale and the prices of the commuter motorcycle now start at Rs. 59,942 and go up to Rs. 65,942. Check out the variant-wise prices in the table below. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

The motorcycle gets a 109.7 cc single-cylinder engine which is air-cooled. It makes 8.08 bhp at 7,350 rpm while peak torque output is 8.7 Nm at 4,500 rpm. The Radeon bike continues to get a 4-speed gearbox. The company says that the BS6 version of the bike is now 15 per cent more fuel efficient. While the overall dimensions of the motorcycle stay the same, the weight of the motorcycle increases by 4 kg. The disc brake variant now weighs 118 kg while the drum brake variant weighs 116 kg. TVS claims a fuel efficiency of 79.3 kmpl on the BS6 Radeon and the fuel tank capacity of the bike is 10 litres.

In terms of features, the motorcycle stays the same. It goes up against the likes of the Hero Splendor Plus, Honda CD 110 Dream DX and the Bajaj Platina ES 100.

Honda 850 cc Parallel-Twin Engine Revealed In Patent Filings

Latest patent images from Japan seem to indicate that Honda may be working on an all-new 850 cc, parallel-twin engine. And the new engine, with more displacement to meet the Euro 5 emission regulations, will replace the current engine on the Honda NC750 range, with the engine and chassis shares amongst several Honda models including the Honda NC750S naked bike, the NC750D Integra scooter, the NC750X adventure tourer, as well as the Honda X-ADV adventure scooter. None of these models are offered on sale in India, but with new emission regulations looming around the corner in Europe, Honda is possibly looking to explore an increase in displacement to meet those norms. Indian FTR 1200 Rally Revealed

Indian Motorcycle took the wraps off the Indian FTR 1200 Rally, which is an off-road biased version of the standard Indian FTR 1200 . The FTR 1200 Rally looks more of a scrambler than a flat-tracker and boy, does it look good! There are a few changes on the Rally compared to the standard model such as ProTaper handlebars, which are 50 mm higher. This results in a more upright seating position. The alloy wheels are swapped out for Aluminium spoke wheels wrapped in knobby Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR rubber. The FTR 1200 Rally also gets a new Titanium smoke paint scheme along with the Indian headdress logo along with a brown seat, giving the motorcycle a stripped out retro look.
