In terms of features, the updated Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT carries over the same design, cycle parts, as well as instrument panel as the outgoing 2019 model. The updated middleweight adventure motorcycle, the V-Strom 650 XT, will now meet the upcoming Bharat Stage VI (BS6) emission regulations, although Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) has not shared if there are any changes in the power and torque output of the BS6 V-Strom 650 XT. The engine continues to be the 645 cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor, which has been updated to meet the new emission regulations. For reference, the outgoing BS4 model of the V-Strom 650 XT puts out 70 bhp of maximum power at 8,800 rpm and 62 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm.
The instrument panel seems to be the same part digital, part analogue unit used on the outgoing BS4 model, and everything else, from the mirrors, windshielf, handlebar, suspension, wheels and tyres continue to remain the same as before. In terms of rider aids, you get a three-level traction control system, which can be turned off, as well as ABS, which cannot be turned off. The current Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT is priced at Rs. 7.46 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The updated BS6 Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT is expected to get marginally more expensive.
