KTM Motorcycle Range In India Gets A Price Hike Across The Board

Bajaj Auto has silently increased the prices of the Bajaj line-up along with all KTM and Husqvarna bikes in India. The entire KTM line-up in India, barring the KTM 790 Duke, gets a price hike ranging from Rs. 4,096 to Rs. 5,109. The KTM 790 Duke is yet to get a BS6 version. The KTM 390 Duke gets a price hike of Rs. 4,978 and is now priced at Rs. 2.58 lakh. Similarly, the KTM 390 Adventure and the RC 390 get a price hike of Rs. 5,109 and are now priced at Rs. 3.04 lakh and Rs. 2.53 lakh, respectively. The 125 Duke and the 200 Duke get a price hike of Rs. 4,223 and Rs. 4,096 and are now priced at Rs. 1.42 lakh and Rs. 1.77 lakh respectively. Similarly, the 250 Duke also gets a price hike of Rs. 4,736 and is now priced at Rs. 2.05 lakh.

The RC 125 and the RC 200 also get a price hike of Rs. 4,352 and Rs. 4,096 and their current ex-showroom price is Rs. 1.60 lakh and Rs. 2.01 lakh. One of the reasons for the increase in prices could be to offset the significantly reduced sales in March and April, 2020. The Coronavirus lockdown hasn't been kind to the Indian auto industry and with retail operations completely shut in April 2020, the going has been tough for all manufacturers.
